We stayed last weekend and we found it a very nice place, with good food and friendly people. The children especially loved the dog. I would highly recommend this B+B to anybody. Thanks for a great weekend

Fantastic welcome, great sized rooms and brilliant breakfast. Linda and Rodger are first class hosts and thier dogs Dudley and Molly are great. It really is doggie friendly even with a huge dog. Thanks so much for a wonderful break. We will be coming back.

Elim Lodge retains its Three Star Guest House rating and continues to offer guests a comfortable nights stay with an excellent breakfast.The bedrooms were of assorted sizes however all offered good ease of use with access able sockets and good storage space. The new sofa in room 6 fits well into this cosy attic room and it was noted that some new bed spreads had also been introduced since our last visit. The tea trays in the rooms were well stocked with Fair Trade teas and coffees. It was good to see that locally made toiletries were in place. Elim Lodge is an attractive Guest House, just a short walk away from the heart of Bowness. Offering comfortable relaxed surroundings with an excellent breakfast, it makes an ideal place to stay. Mr and Mrs Woodroffe are clearly passionate about encouraging guests to be environmentally friendly and have a very comprehensive Green Policy in place. The dining room offers plenty of space and guests will appreciate the open fire which is lit at breakfast times throughout the Winter.
